Muenzgasse 10, Dresden
Nice place. Germany local food. Locates at downtown historical area. Price is reasonably and food is comfortable. Visited this place couple of times and still like it. If you could not figure out what to eat at Dresden, this is a place you can go. Amount of food and price seemed quite reasonable.
If you visit a new city / region, you might want to try regional food and this restaurant is very suitable for that. Maybe it looks not very special, but the food is home-made and tastes very good! The portions are reasonable and so are the prices. So good that you go there twice - like me...recommend
Very good food with a great price / performance ratio. The staff open-minded, partly very friendly and attentive. The location right on the Elbe Wall is ideal, even if you sit on the wind-protected terrace.
We were there today and everything was very good and delicious. Will definitely come back.
Very good meal, at reasonable prices. Nice atmosphere and friendly staffs.
We hadn't reserved a table for dinner. But we were lucky that we still got space. Nice personel. Great food. Great beer. What more do you want.
Advance booking is mandatory, very fully booked. Great food, but the waitress had a bad day (hopefully). Very unfriendly and inflexible. When asked whether we could get another card with 4 people, the friendly answer was "Here only 2 cards are distributed per table" The cutlery on a plate was then thrown on the table with a loud roar. Thank you and please have to be trained again ...
Great service, friendly staff. We only had one soup and french fries but it was delicious and the staff was very friendly! Very nice stop!
Very nicely furnished restaurant with small niches. Really very good food at normal prices. I wouldn't describe the selection as generous, but everyone will find something they like here. Friendly and attentive service. You can also sit outside.
Everything from the nice service and the cozy rooms was great. The food was very good, but I cannot give the fifth star because unfortunately all of our meals were no longer warm, which was a shame.
Quality fits here absolutely, great price-performance ratio. Service was also good. Keep it up!
Rustic home cooking at normal prices. The menus were dirty and greasy, they could be cleaned. At lunchtime and in the evening you have to be lucky enough to get a free table. We had the coachman's plate, everything was delicious and was easily enough.
It was a very special visit, the service its great. The are its very scenic and the food its really german. The selection of beers is good and I had one of the best pretzels there. Recommended for outside sitting or indoor.
Great food, nice atmosphere, friendly staff.
Traditional German and Saxon food downtown Dresden.
Beautifully located restaurant in Dresden's old town with a wide range of drinks and meals. The smells in the outdoor area of the restaurant were exactly diverse. An expert from the next table recommended refilling the siffons, as the nearby gully spread a multitude of unpleasant smells. Unfortunately, it remained open whether the unfriendly and demotivated manner of service was also due to the smell.
The service of all waiters and the boss was extremely friendly and accommodating. After a short wait, without a reservation, we were shown to a nice place and enjoyed a plate for two that was very tasty and spicy. The beers were explained and were very good. The two other visits were equally enjoyable and very pleasant. Really highly recommended and well worth a short wait.
Very good tavern on the banks of the Elbe in Dresden. Prices for drinks and food are in the normal range. Is very recommendable
The Kutscherschänke is a recommendable inn, offering, among other things, Saxon cuisine (very hearty, tasty) No point of criticism - very nice service The menu is varied. Tastes like home cooking. Fresh egg pancakes and homemade cakes beckon ...
Nice Thuringer Bratwurst
Really delicious food! Yes, you can do that in the Kutscherschänke. The beer, Feldschlößchen Pilsener, an original Dresden art of brewing, with a light hop note and pleasant freshness. Brewing water from the Erzgebirge, alcohol content: 4.9%, original wort: 11.2%
We ate here with another couple, and we found the service to be prompt and friendly. However the food was a bit disappointing. My wife is a vegetarian and the options for her were very limited. I ordered the mixed meat plate and the meat was okay, but the potatoes and vegetables were only so so. The vegetables were over cooked which surprised me considering the other reviews, and there was little to be said about the potatoes. With so many restaurants near by I would think it could have been better.
The food was very good but the service was totally unacceptable. Here are a few experiences during our visit: - It was a rainy day and because of my friend's wheelchair we were looking for an easily accessible but protected place outside. When we found a place under an umbrella, the waitress said: You don't need to sit down there, you will get wet anyway. Instead of offering us a better place, it then disappeared. - Unfortunately there was only one menu for 4 people on the table. The only answer to the question about another card was: I have to look first ... they all get wet then. - Overall, the service seemed very annoyed and listless - After we asked for the bill, the waitress disappeared and took care of everything but not us. It was even preferred to clear tables where no people were sitting. - After the bill came, we wanted to pay separately. The operation was completely overwhelmed. He kept miscalculating. With the last person it was said: Somehow it doesn't work. Then give it to me and give one euro to a companion from you. But who didn't she know about? The price / performance ratio is of course rather bad near the Frauenkirche. The selection and the quality of the food were surprisingly good!
We were in Dresden for 3 days and ate here the first evening. It was so delicious ? that we reserved a table for the next evening. Very courteous staff. We would like to especially thank the waitress Ms. Rondeau. She served us superbly. Kudos to the kitchen. We have seldom eaten so well anywhere. If we should ever be in Dresden again, a visit to the Kutscherschänke is guaranteed. LG Diana and Ralph Brill from Thuringia
Excellent
Top.
Food was very good and not overpriced. Pleasant atmosphere
Great restaurant with a great location. The dishes are prepared as one would do it at home. But for a location with this broad spectrum of visitors, the dishes lack the necessary whistle. Otherwise it was an all-round beautiful evening. The service was very friendly and courteous. thanks for that
Terrible service, we were waiting our meal more than one hour. It looks like the food was reheated...
Highly recommended!!! The service is great, very nice staff. The selection of the dishes is not large but there is something for every taste and the dishes are very very tasty (recommended: the potato soup as a starter and the potato slices as a side dish). The prices are cheap for the quality of the dishes. It is very nice to sit outside, especially in good weather, we recommend that you reserve in advance. The toilets were big and clean.
We had a wonderful evening. The food was really delicious and plentiful. Our service very friendly. Everything went quickly, even though there was a lot going on. Thanks for the nice evening with you
1 of my favorite restaurants in Dresden :)
We just came from Prague to visit Dresden for the day. We have enjoyed the Czech food, but did not realize how much different German food was going to be in comparison. This food here was amazing! We were very happy. Reminded me of the food my grandmother would cook. ?
We all find the food agreeable. We have had some bad experiences with over salty local food. This is a good place to venture some traditional German style cooking.

Food was delicious
Very good meal, at reasonable prices. Nice atmosphere and friendly stuff.
HORRIBLE RUDR MALE WAITER (14:40 8 Jan 2020) blonde hair short. . I am a vegan I walked in to nicely ask for the menu, the waiter refused to show me the menu and forced me to sit down . When I said I need to look first beofre I sit down as I am a vegan and there might not be good available for me. I sat down after the waiter was rude and he was shaking his head in disatifaction that I asked for the menu before sitting . I sat down to find NOTHING vegan. I told the waiter about this. He insisted I was in the wrong and I should leave the resturant . I am horrified by how horrible this person is considering he works in "HOSPITALITY"
Good sausages
Food is find, not amazing. A little bit overpriced because of the tourist area.
very nice beer and very friendly stuff, but food could be better
Best duck I ever had in a restaurant make reservations if possible. Always would go back
Expected to get a breeze of proper German dining experience. Well, in this way I´ve got a fair windstorm. Unforgettable meal (venison), large 1L beer, reasonable pricing, neat atmosphere and german-typical tough woman as waitress just like from OktoberFest. Made my day. Thanks heaps!
Lovely German food & great atmosphere
Great german food and friendly staff.
It is definitely not going to be the meal of your life. However, food is good and reasonably priced. Good attention.
Very good beer. Let's wait for the meat!!!
